Dear Chitra,
Good day!!!
I feel very happy and pleasure writing this mail to you. Myself Lavanya Rajmohan from Dubai, UAE. My native is Trichy.
Recently I got married and settled down in Dubai 2014. I never knew cooking as I’m very much attached to my Dad and mom. They never allowed me in kitchen like you. After marriage, I found your website in Google and started making recipes from Arachu vitta sambar, poriyal,  aviyal (my hubby loves a lot), almost 5 types of chutney in which onion tomato chutney and capsicum chutney was a big hit which my MIL and my mom appreciated a lot.
Though I used to work, I find your recipe very simple and neat with pictures and cook a lot too. Have tried Ambur veg briyani, Spicy Veg pulao, Vegetable dum briyani, Badam halwa on my hubby’s bday which came excellent like we get in hotels.
Now I became very popular in my apartments making sweets as I love sweets and couldn’t get Indian sweets in UAE. I made Milk halwa, rava kesari (usually I don’t add color) and ladoo, Maida ladoo, Maida biscuits (my hubby fav) which came very crispy, Moong dal payasam (my hubby fav) Paneer ladoo (another big hit) and all were asking from which sweet shop u bought.
Have also made homemade condensed milk which u explained easy pictures step by step method. I’m not even referring any other website than yours for Veg recipe. Little worried dat you are vegetarian… 🙂 as I love non veg a lot :).
I wish you can post many easy recipes and also I’m extremely happy to share my pictures which I have tried all from your website.. Thanks a lot :). Thanks for making cooking very easy… All my credit goes to you….. 🙂
Wishing you more success!!!
Thanks,
Lavanya Rajmohan.

Chitra darling,
Thanks from the bottom of my heart for the most wonderful recipes.  My diary is flooded with your recipes.  Without fail iam marking on the top of all your recipes,”Chitras food book”.
My family members enjoyed your tiffin sambar to a very great extent and they loved a lot.  Before sending this mail I saw your easy rasam recipee (Your father”s) and noted down.
My family members appreciation for tiffin sambar, sambar sadam,  paneer biriyani, especially vatha kuzhambu goes one  and only to you.
You have definitely proved an example for the well known saying “If u want to get into some body”s  heart do it through their mouth first”  Yes am half way through in getting entry to my family member”s heart especially through u.
With lots of luv and very warm regards,
Gomathi Raghuraman.
Do keep in touch.

Dear Ms. Chitra,
I am Karthi from Singapore.  I came across your website recently and learnt cooking mor kuzhambu, thakkali thokku and karuveppillai chutney.
Needless to day everything tasted delicious even though they were prepared by me.  Believe it or not,  even my wife praised my culinary skills that she asked me to prepare thakkali thokku one more time :p.
Jokes apart, i started learning cooking when i was just 12 years. So reading your recipe is very easy for me.
While going through your karuveppillai chutney recipe,  you had mentioned that your MIL used to make Coconut oil by adding curry leaves,  karsilaanganni, gooseberry etc.
Could you please let me know how to prepare it using those ingredients?
Thank you so much in advance 🙂 🙂
Have a great week ahead!!!
Regards,
Karthi.
